I am happy we've got a fantastic enough mix right now of experienced devs and newbies. Those could reasonable thoughts in OSRS gold certain future iterations, but having too many brand new devs is definitely not a fantastic thing in the beginning.
They definitely need more people that are able to work on the engine,"engine function" should not be a limit. Aside from that yeah the level of content layout has been quite good so we do not need to destroy that by having too many devs feel like they must be publishing something.
What we urgently need is a dedicated service group, dedicated anti cheat team, a player mod team, more engine devs for both games, and whatever team is suppose to deal with account safety. They have not been in a position to begin due to safety as a result of constant ongoing"other issues" for the past 1-2 decades. So obviously they need to expand that team or hire some builders.
Do not get me wrong I am quite happy with the Buy Rs gold team and all they've done. I only know from the beginning (and I have been here since the beginning of osrs) it has continually been an act that OSRS is a side job and RS3 is your main bread and butter.
I will say as of late it is obvious they are placing a lot more resources behind it however there are still a smorgasbord of community problems behind poor smoking and non employees there.
